Personal History Henry was born to Andrew and Robin Marx on the planet Earth, in Omaha, Nebraska. Both his parents were members of the Starfleet Marine Corps. They were stationed at one of the Federation's training grounds for Marines. When he was 3 years old, his father was transferred to the USS Midway and his mother to Deep Space K7. Henry went to live with his mother.

While growing up, Henry was a bit of a daredevil. He enjoyed the pursuit of anything physical; including gymnastics, archery, and swimming. He was also extremely interested in life sciences, often speeding hours in his room studying biology, microbiology, and everything that he could get his hands on.

Henry was a very outgoing young man and had many friends. He was well liked and respected by nearly everyone that he met. He did, have a knack for always saying what was on his mind, which was both a blessing and a curse.

Henry gave serious thought to enrolling in Starfleet when he turned 18 but decided instead to opt for the Marines, like his parents.
Service Record Henry joined the Marines when he turned 18. Due to his interest in the medical field and his apparent physical prowess; he was chosen as a member of the elite PJs (para-rescue) and took on the motto "So that others may live". Henry loved life in the Marines; although he did have the occasional problem with authority.

Henry went on to serve in several posts, most of them as the chief medic. Eventually, he was promoted from field work to act as an instructor for the para-rescue unit. It was then that he met Cale Braydon, a young man that closely resembled himself, except the fact that Cale was even more brash and outgoing then Henry.

The two of them eventually pursued a romantic relationship; both later assigned to the USS Haven. The Haven would server for three years on the border between Federation and Romulan space. During that time, both Henry and Cale continued to prove themselves as model officers. While on an away mission to investigate a Federation colony losing all communication.

When they arrived, they found nothing out of the ordinary, save all the colonist that were dead. On closer examination, they found that a rogue section of Marine scientists had used illegal genetic modification to create what they thought were super soldiers. However the enhancements drove them mad and they ended up killing the colonists.

They managed to destroy the lab. Afterwards, while reviewing the information that they had discovered, Henry remarked that the rogue Marine scientists had been remarkably close to their goal. Although, Henry did not believe that was ethical, Cale thought otherwise. The two fo them argued and eventually ended up breaking up.

Knowing that he and Cale would have to be together due to their assignment, he decided to resign his commission and instead move onto Starfleet academy, specifically the medical services.

Henry loved the academy and loved his continued study of medicine even more. He became involved in the academy archery team, the swim team, and even took up playing soccer. Henry was particually fascinated with cybernetics and the Borg, who would become what most of his research projects were about.

Henry graduated near the top of his class and was assigned as a medical officer to Deep Space 4, where he served for 3 years. After his successful stint as a medical officer, he was transferred to the USS Omaha as the assistant chief medical officer.

Henry loved working with patients but what he loved even more was the research and first contact chances he got severing on a Federation starship. He was offered the position of Chief Medical Officer onboard the USS Iapetus.
