Personal History | Early Life - Chris was born in Mildura, Australia. Though he had only visited his native country while he attended the Academy, Chris is known to speak in the accent attributed to this part of Earth. His father is Captain Harold Rogan Commanding Officer of the Star Base 556 where Chris was raised. The family moved to the base a few weeks after Chris was born. Chris idolized his father hoping one day that he too would be the commander of a Starbase. His earliest education was in the Star Fleet Educational Program where his mother taught. Academy Days- At 17, Chris applied to the Academy and passed the entrance exam on the first try. His major fields of study is Xeno-Sociology and Diplomacy. On top of his studies he was a member of the Academy Debate Team, the Student Council and Academy Paper. When he was in this second year his room mate who was a massive baseball fan and played on the Academy team coaxed Chris into playing with them as the first string catcher. He was also on the debate squad and could often be found in a local bar watching the Football Club his cousin Ryan played for. Post Academy- After graduating, Chris was first assigned to Deep Space 10 as a Diplomatic Officer. His work often taken him away to far off places. He was part of a Diplomatic Team to renegotiate a trade agreement with the Lormar Union and helped with the First Contact of the Gallar. The constant travel and sense of permanency made Chris long for a stable place to call home. He applied to be commissioned on a Star Ship. USS Dioguardi - His first ship was the USS Dioguardi, an Excelsior Class ship that seemed overtaxed. Compared to hid work, Chris was rarely needed as the ship was placed more on patrol of the Neutral Zone. She saw too many battles and was forced to be mothballed after it's 7th Mission into Romulan Space. Chris and most of the crew transferred to various Star Ships, Chris applied to the Iapetus. |
