| Personal History | Yolana Hecar was born on Trill to her parents Jorat and Rima Hecar. After she was born her mother died shortly after the birth due to complications. Jorat Hecar raised Yolana by himself til she was about 10 years old. On her eleventh birthday her father placed Yolana in foster care as he couldn't take care of her any longer. While living with foster parents Yolana was told about Symbiont joining and how it was a beautiful thing to do to help the Symbiont live out there lives. After getting advice about joining Yolana applied to the Trill Symbioses Commission when she was old enough to become an initiate. While in the initiate program yolana's Field Docent was rather tough on her, but she didn't let it bring her down. After receiving high honors in the medical and sciences division she was given the Fargo Symbiont. After receiving the Fargo Symbiont Yolana applied to Starfleet Academy to expand her medical knowledge and to explore the universe. While at the Academy Yolana made a lot of friends. After graduating the Academy she applied for the Medical Academy to become a doctor. While at the Medical Academy Yolana flew through the classes with flying colors. She understood the medical terms and the different procedure. After graduating Yolana was assigned to the USS Georgia under the Command of Captain Jordan Rice as a Medical Officer. While on a humanitarian mission to the planet Grafon 4 she participated in helping the population recover from a deadly disease that infects the nervous system of only half of that population. While on the Planet Yolana discovered how the disease was being spread and also found a way to stop it from coming into contact with more of the population. Once back aboard the Georgia Yolana was proud to have helped to save a civilization. After the population of Grafon 4 had recovered from the deadly disease the USS Georgia began its way back to Starbase 31. While heading back to Federation Space the USS Georgia was attacked by an advanced and unknown species. While the Georgia was under attack the entire Medical staff except for Yolana was killed in a hull breach. Taking temporary command of the medical situation Yolana recruited some of the damage control members to medical to help save as many lives as possible. After the attack Yolana had the duty to inform the Acting CO of the Fatality list which included the CO, XO, half the Medical Staff and half the crew. Limping back to Federation Space The USS Georgia made it safely to Starbase 31 where is was decommissioned. After the decommission of the USS Georgia Yolana was assigned to the USS Appalacia under the command of Commodore Brenda Franklin as the ships Assistant Chief Medical Officer. While aboard the Appalatia, Yolana became friends with Jordan Trump the ships Chief Medical Officer. {This is as far as I have gotten. I will work on as I go.} |
