The Fleet

OK guys, I was hoping we would have enough time to get this mission wrapped up and added to the Fleet Story Arc as our final legacy with Horizon Fleet, but certain members have forced my hand.

A select number of individuals in Horizon Fleet (Founders of the fleet and their friends) have today decided to do a 're-start' of the fleet. What this means is that I have been removed from the Fleet Academy Director post on the Fleet Council, and all simms have been removed from the fleet, with COs being told to send their TFCOs an email if they want back in, answer a questionnaire, and wait to be approved. I believe I can guarantee that even if I were to send in an email to Admirals Iluvar or Andorski, we wouldn't be approved as a returning sim.

So, as of this moment the USS Iapetus is now an independent simulation. In the following week, I will get us a proper domain name, and will post on the forums about where we could possibly go for our future.

For now, we will of course continue with our current mission, as it is an original one of mine (barring the Elyshan element, as they are a HF Story Arc creation) - but since the fleet has been re-started, it can be suitably assumed that the Story Arc and all its elements are suitably defunct from this moment.
