Two new Ensigns!

I'd like to welcome aboard two new ensigns to the ship; Ensign Jay Lugh, who will be joining us as our assistant chief at the helm, and Ensign Soren McArthur, who joins the security department as an infiltration specialist.

With more non-senior members of the staff, this creates ideal opportunities for us to practice our character writing, and hopefully we'll get to see more about what life on the ship is like as well as having some interesting fun on our missions!


In other news, I know that our first set of posts out since our partial reboot have been a little slow to come, but as most of you know I am in a JP with most of the crew by now, and most of them are coming close to being posted, after which point we'll be able to step up the timetable of our departure from the maintenance yards and get on with our new mission.

Everyone currently in a JP, can I please remind you to respond to tags as promptly as you can so that we can keep the flow moving, and for those of you not yet in a JP with me, I'll hopefully be able to start at least one with you all within the next few days, just as soon as I come up with a premise for it. Obviously please feel free to start doing solo posts of your own to get yourselves started, and it might also be a good idea to hit up your department heads for a JP as well.
