View Award - Christopher Pike Medal of Valour
It should be issued to characters who performed acts of bravery which protected their fellow officers and crew (or even civilians) during a conflict. It is simple enough for most people to be brave when nothing is holding them back, so I would reserve this medal for those who overcome a difficulty. An officer who directed his men despite being gravely injured, or an Engineer who entered a radioactive environment to repair a system vital to ship survival during an enemy attack.
