Captain's Log, Stardate 63220.6

We've completed the strike against the Guarded, and are now en-route to Starbase Ronin, the nearest Federation Outpost to our present location. We have long-range communications partially functional again, though we can only receive messages, not send them.

As it turns out, it's close-ness to our location isn't the only reason for us to proceed to Ronin - Starfleet have issued orders for us to pick up a number of new crew at the Station. Hopefully it won't take long to get them reporting onboard - I'd rather have a full senior staff than go without.

I have also learnt that Ronin is the location where the USS Lincoln, my former command, is being retrofitted as part of it's lengthly overhaul program, and I have a bad feeling at the back of my mind that this will somehow link into Peter. I saw as clearly as everyone else the photograph he programmed the computer to show after we had restored systems - the senior staff of the Lincoln on the bridge. I feel as if things are all going to come to a head at Ronin. I just hope that we get there before they do.
