Timeline: Before "Games and Tests"

Abigail sat in her quarters trying to think of a message for Vorn if he should read it when he got to his quarters. She brightened when she thought of something and quickly sent it saying at the end, 'If you get this then please do a live feed back to me if your alone. If your not alone then please just send a written response.' Abigail sent the message and went to take a shower waiting for a reply.

Vorns computer quietly bleeped informing him that he had a waiting message, and so quickly checking it's sender, he closed down the scans that he was looking at, and read the message, smiling as he did so. "Computer; begin a live feed to the computer this message was sent from." he ordered. The computer chirped again as Abigail's face appeared on his screen.

Abigail's face lit up. "Hello Vorn! I wasn't sure if you were with another crewmember in your area or not so I said what I said.... Are you busy at the end of the week?"

"I can make time." Vorn said as he smiled. That was one of the priviledges of command - unless there was an Admiral on-board, you got to decide when your own free time was. And even though he knew there wouldn't be anyone there, his eyes automatically did a quick sweep of his ready room at the mention of it - it was just instinct, and Vorn didn't even notice in the second it took for his eyes to return to the screen. "What did you have in mind?"

Abigail blushed, "Well I was thinking we could have a romantic dinner in my quarters?"

"Sounds good." Vorn replied, already making a few quick plans which would mean he'd be able to leave his work alone for a night. "Should we say about 6 o'clock on Saturday then?" it was only a couple of days away, and near-enough to the end of the week. It would also give Vorn a chance to think about something he could bring to the meal.

Abigail nodded, "Alright. I'd best leave you alone now so you can get back to work. I'll see you Saturday Vorn." She blew Vorn a kiss and smiled at him.
