Mission: Heart of an Explorer
Location: Bridge
Timeline: Current
Tags: Commander Walex

The runabout USS Guyandotte landed with a thump onto the deck of the USS Iapetus. Lieutenant Thomas Riddle threw his duffle bag over his shoulder and waited for the hatch of the runabout to open.
“Thanks for the lift.” Riddle said to the petty officer at the helm unable to remember the man’s name.
“No problem sir” The pilot said and nodding to let him know that it was clear for him to depart.
The shuttle bay was nearly empty he supposed that it was early morning here or either late night he did not know he was still operating on Starbase 456 local standard time. He was amazed at the level of technology that the Luna-class ship had available. His last posting was aboard the USS Americana an Excelsior class ship this was no Excelsior-Class ship.
He went to his quarters took a quick shower and changed into a fresh uniform. He arrived a little early so he had enough time to look decent for when he reported on board.
“Computer who is the duty officer?” He asked as he took a quick look in the mirror and straightened his uniform.
“Commander Acle Walex is the current officer on duty “ The metallic voice of the computer answered back.
“Ah the first officer” He said to himself…He took another quick glance in the mirror and headed for the nearest turbolift. He was in awe at the size of the Iapetus he never imagined that he would have the chance to serve on a vessel like this.
“Bridge” he ordered. In what seemed like only seconds he was on the bridge. He rounded the command center and approached the man in the center seat and came to attention.
“”Sir Lieutenant Junior Grade Thomas Riddle chief operations officer reporting as ordered.” He said in the best of military tradition and headed the Commander a PADD that contained his transfer orders.
