Mission: Dark Discoveries
Location: U.S.S Iapetus-Main Bridge
Timeline: Mission Day 3 - 01:17 AM

Peter was sitting in the command chair with the repairs of the whip continuing and the Iapetus heading at low impulse power towards the neblua. Peter had high hopes of getting the shake down mission done early.

"Commander, main power is returning to 100% status," said the Operations Officer

"Good, Helm return to full impulse, I want to get us back under way," said Peter as he looked at his status screens. He was starting to feel the effects of lack of sleep; he been on the Bridge ever since the drill, maintaining an operational command of the situation. So Peter stood up and looked around the semi-lit bridge.

"At current speed how long, Helm?" asked Peter

"Well, Sir about 3 weeks, before we can enter the Nebula" Said the Helmsmen after entering a few commands into his station at this Peter walked around looking at every station keep an eye on every thing as it was late and the ship was silent. Peter enjoyed these times on the Bridge, it was in his opinion the best shift to have were most of the action was. He was just about to head back to the Command Chair when the Captain entered

"Good morning, Captain you're up late, or early," daid Peter, looking over from the bridge railing.

"Yes, well we're approaching Engineering's deadline for getting the Warp Core active." Vorn responded. Besides, I've not been able to get to sleep tonight, he added in his head. He didn't want to say that infront of the crew though. "You haven't been here since the drill, have you?" he asked.

Peter looked over at his Captain from First Being Made the Executive Officer he got to know the Man more "Well, Yes wanted to keep updated in all whats going on I felt my Place was on the Bridge as it was My Watch that got us in this Mess, I wanted to be on Watch once we got out, and I Think I know the Feeling in not getting Any Sleep" Said Peter

"Well, lucky for you I don't have that problem." Vorn lied, as he smiled. "Go on, get some rest, Peter. I plan on taking command when we bring the Warp Core back online anyway. I need you to be alert and active for tomorrow.... well, later today."

Peter Looked at the Captain and took an breath as he knew that he wanted to to stay but then the Captain was insistent "Are, you quite Sure?" Asked Peter

"I can make it an order, if you like?" Vorn said, smiling.

"No, No, I am going I am Going, have fun with Gamma" said Peter as he headed for the troubolift once he entered he thought for an few moments

"Mess Hall" Said Peter, as Vorn took his seat at the centre of the Bridge.
