Mission:
Dark Discoveries
Location: New Councilors Office
Annalyn went looking for Bradley, he was listed as moving to Counciling, and she needed to be sure he was aware of what was going on with the Captain. She saw him disappear though a door, and went up to it and knocked.
"Come in." said Bradley.
Annalyn stuck her head in the door, "Congratulations, on your new position, although I now need a Gamma Shift Doctor. You have a minute to discuss something?"
Bradley saw the face of his former supervisor. "Thank you. Don't worry, I'll help out til you get a replacement." said Bradley.
"So what did you need to discuss? Your mental status?" said Bradley with a small smirk.
"Humm, not really, my mental status is not up for discussion, however the Captain's might be. He just discovered a new talent, ability or whatever you might want to call it. He is telepathic with the new beings the ship has discovered, and I am not sure how he is going to take it, if it is just those beings or an awakened talent."
"Hmm. Well we have other telepathic species on board. Have there been any new reports lately?" asked Bradley.
"So far as I can tell, the Beings left off bothering other species, when they made contact with the Captain, I have talked to them briefly, but they are targeting him."
~Are they targeting the Captain for a reason, or just to establish first contact.~ thought Bradley.
"During your contact with the beings did they explain what they want?"
"They didn't want to be harvested again. Someone is coming into this area and scooping them up, how I am not sure, but the Captain is working on that. I did get him some basic shields set up, I will never tell him that is what we teach littles who have have had abilities start up, but it will serve at the moment.
"Well with all of this it seems I'll have my hands full." said Bradley.
"Yes I think so, I think you should check on anyone with any empathy or telepathic ability, see how they fared with the on slot of the mental activity as we approached, I gave out lots of pain meds for a while. I will keep an eye on the Captain, and tell you if anything else seems to be going on."
Bradley nodded. "Very well."
Annalyn left on that note, heading back to her office.
