Time for Take 2

Mission: Dark Discoveries
Location: USS Iapetus - Transporter Room
Timeline: MD9 1530hrs

Vorn arrived at the transporter room just as the away team were leaving it, after being beamed out of the Mosh'tar. They'd already started down the corridors to continue with post-away mission proceedure, but Vorn called out for Acle to come back.

"What happened over there?"

Acle's face was a mask of darkness. His mouth was in a tight line as he looked at his captain.

"Bluntly Sir? All hell broke loose. If it hadn't been for the doctor giving warning, we would have lost at least two members of the away team. They were prepared, set, and eager. We walked into an ambush."

Acle exhaled deeply then looked up "Sir, it is my opinion that I take a team of marines over there ASAP before they have a chance to blow the evidence or the entire ship. It will be a clean operation, minimal casualties. I find it very hard to believe that they have the entire crew in their little hands, it is my judgment that there are only a few real hostiles."

"We don't have marines onboard." Vorn said, shaking his head. Personally, he was glad, as he knew from prior assignments before he became a CO that marines can be a pain in the neck. "Get a compliment of security personnel kitted up and get back over there. Take hostages if you can, but you have my authority to use lethal force on anyone who fires on you. Understood?"

Acle nodded grimly before beginning to turn around. turning around "I understand you clearly Captain. This will be a sting mission..." Acle hit his combadge quickly

=/Lt. Commander Walex to Security. Prep two fire teams for hostile boarding. Have someone bring a combat kit to the transporter room as well. I need those teams ASAP. This is not a drill. Walex out.=

"I want to talk to that ship's Captain," Vorn said, his voice stern as he was already thinking of what he needed to say to the man. He chose though not to give his acting XO anymore advice, knowing that Acle knew his business.

"Aye Aye Captain. I can assure you... That Captain will talk." Acle answered, then quickly headed back to the transporter to await the arrival of his teams.

Patting his old friend on the shoulder, Vorn headed up to the Bridge. He wanted to be there incase the crew of the Mosh'tar tried anything.
