Swimming, Swimming, In a Swimming Pool...

Location: Holodeck

Abigail sat in her quarters bored and then an idea came to her. She sent a message to Annalyn and Bradley. She thought that they would like to go swimming in the holodeck. So underneath her casual clothes she wore her two piece bathing suit. She went and entered the holodeck. She waited for her friends.

Annalyn had the day off, so she when Abigail contacted her, she changed into a bathing suit, and headed for the holodeck. entering, "This is a very good idea."

Abigail turned and smiled at Annalyn, "I figured some beach time would do us wonders." She gave a snort of laughter, "I haven't been in a holodeck for awhile. I wonder what this experience will do for me." Abigail's smile widened at Annalyn, "How have you been? Anything interesting happening in Sickbay?"

"Not at this point, the last mission was bad, but things have settled down a the minute, how about you?".

[Counselor's Office]

Bradley received a message from Abigal inviting him and Annalynn to go swimming on the holodeck.

"Computer on pair of swimming trunks with checkered pattern, and a blue t-shirt, also a beach towl."

The items he requested appeared in the replicator. Picking them up he quickly changed in the next room.

After changing he made his way to the holodeck.

[Holodeck]

Annalyn sat on the edge of the pool, with her feet in, just relaxing.

Abigail dove into the water and came up with her hair plastered to her face. She frowned and then got out. "Computer one thing of sunscreen of maxium SPF security." A bottle of sunscreen appeared and Abigail put some one herself, "Here. Do you want to put some on? I know this isn't real, but it would be really disconcerting if I got a holo sunburn."

With a whoosh of the doors parting Bradley entered the holodeck.

"Evening Ladies. I hear there's a party going on." he said with a smerk.

Abigail laughed and held out the bottle of sunscreen, "Want some? I wonder what its like to have a holo sunburn, but now is not the time for me to find out."

"Sure." he said grabbing the bottle and squeezing out a good amount to put on.

After applying the sun screen Bradley jumped into the pool.

Abigail laughed and dived in after Bradley. "Computer add diving board and make it high, but not too high." The computer obliged and a diving board appeared. Abigail swam over to the other side of the pool and climbed the ladder of the board and shouted, "Bradley! Annalyn! Look!" The woman jumped up and down three times before diving into the water with a huge SPLOOSH!

Laughing, Annalyn slid into the pool. "My sun is stonger than yours, I am use to strong light, I won't have any problems." She swam across to the other side of the pool, stretching muscles.

Abigail slowly came up and gasped for air. She swam to the side of the pool and got out. Again she went up the ladder to the diving board. She jumped three times and then cannonballed into the water before coming up to the surface and rejoining her friends. She dipped under for a second and then came up spluttering water at Bradley and Annalyn. "I haven't had this much fun in forever. Are you two having as much fun as I am?"

Annalyn climbed out of the pool and went up on the diving board and after bouncing a few times, Knifed cleanly into the pool with hardly a splash. Bobbing to the surface, she came up laughing, "Its great, we will have to do this more often."

"Yes we should. Its always fun to spend time with friends," Abigail said smiling to Bradley and Annalyn. They were her friends and she cared for them deeply. Too bad Peter wasn't there and then the fun would really begin.

Bradley swam to the edge of the pool and got out. Climing up the ladder to the diving board he walked out to the edge and yelled at Annalyn and Abigal.

"Cannonball!!!" yelled Bradley as he jumped off the diving board and tucking his knees under him.

Landing in the pool he made a big splash.

Abigail barely covered her eyes in time for the splash. She grinned and whispered to Annalyn, "Lets go hide before Bradley comes up." She raised her voice, "Computer add ten children swimmers and twelve adult swimmers. Plus add four lifeguards watching the pool and add other five inside the lifeguard office. All of various ages." The correct people appeared, "Now computer only acknowledge Lieutenants LaToon and Valera until stated otherwise." "Acknowledged." Abigail got up and quickly walked to the woman's changing room, hoping that Annalyn was right behind.

Annalyn looked at Abigail, "why are we doing this, and I really wish we had some real food here, I find I am hungry."

"It's just a little joke. Isn't that what friends are for?" Abigail winked at Annalyn and then went on, "I'll be back. I'm going to transport out of here to my replicator and get you some food. What are you hungry for Annalyn? I'm sure I can work something up for you."

"Let me go, I can have the lounge make a picnic for three, and bring it back with me." She teleported to her quarters and ordered a picnic lunch for three, with Fried chicken, potato salad, and all the trimmings. Putting on jeans and a t-short over her bathing suit, she went to the lounge picked up the lunch and teleported back to the holodeck. Handing the basket to Abigail, she got out of her jeans and shirt, and said, lets go surprise Bradley."

Abigail nodded and let Annalyn lead the way. She waited for Annalyn to make a move.

"Computer, a table with three chairs," and led the way to find the table.

Abigail sat down on one of the chairs and at the same time help set the table.

Bradley got out of the water and began to search for his friends.

As Annalyn started unloading the basket, she turned to Abigail, "Why don't you get rid of all the extra people, we don't have enough food for them."

Abigail giggled and said, "Computer delete the extra swimmers and lifeguards." The noise ceased and Abigail saw Bradley standing a few feet away and laughed, "Admit it! You couldn't find us!" She laughed even harder.

Annalyn laughed, "Come eat, then we can swim some more."

Abigail grabbed a piece of the food and began eating. She hadn't realized that she had been starving!

They had just finished eating when they heard =/= "All senior staff, report to the briefing room." =/=

Gathering up the remains of lunch she sent the basket back to the mess hall and hurried to dress. "See you both at the meeting," and she disappeared.

Abigail sighed and returned the holodeck controls back to their original status, "You two go to the meeting and I'll catch up."
