Mission: Borderline Diplomacy
Location: U.S.S Iapetus/Conference Room
Timeline: MD1: 22:30 Hours

Peter was standing in the conference room, looking at PADDs of the various fleet deployments, as well as talking to Captain Edward Peller of Starfleet Tactical regarding the recent update of fleet positions.

"Captain, think reasonably given these positions. If we are send in a hostile action and war does break out there are weak points all along the border." replied Peter into the comm.

The Elder Captain looked at the Screen and entered a few commands. The screen then displayed the new map of readings that were then transmitted to the display screen in the conference room.

"Commander, as you will see here, these task forces are assigned to an operation under Starfleet Command Orders. I can't say much more then this, but, you must brief the command staff of the Iapetus that in this area, your service and support is diverted to other operations." replied the captain.


Peter looked at the information that he had been transmitted and picked up a PADD, looking over recent fleet orders. "Captain, I have a report here, that most of the 7th and 8th Fleets have been given marching orders. If we are to be part of any operation, the Iapetus needs to be on the front lines. Those orders will give the ability to exploit any weak points along our border of control." replied Peter, highlighting a point on the map.


"Err.....I am sorry Commander, those are your orders. Starfleet Command out." The Captain replied as he ended the comm channel leaving Peter in the wake of looking at the information. He then took a sip of his Coffee.

"Well, there goes relaxing." replied Peter as he picked up a PADD and started reading.
