Location: USS Iapetus - Bridge--Engineering
Timeline: MD3; 0400 hrs

Lamento tightened the last bolts in the newly repaired cooling system, before making a relieving sigh. “Done, all done!!”

“We finally finished up with the warpcore and we are now brining her back to full power.”
Lamento made a had movement signalling a engineer to pump up the juice.
“So now we can move out of our stranded state and head somewhere
Just don’t go full throttle right away, ease up the speed slowly so we can monitor the situation here and make adjustments if needed.

Vorn nodded from his seat on the bridge as the report from Engineering came in.

"You heard the Lieutenant, helm. Take us to Warp three, nice and easy." he said.

"Warp 3, aye Captain." came the helmsman's response. It was the very early hours of the morning, and Gamma Shift was still on, but Vorn had taken command to ensure that he could deal with any problems with the warp core as they occurred.

"Warp field is stable, Captain." came the report from one of the other gamma-shift bridge officers.

"Let's put a bit more exertion on it then. Helm; Warp 4."

Everything still fine down here, it's save to say at the moment to go to warp 6.
Just keep her there so we van analyse the date from that.

"You heard them, helm." Vorn said. "Take us to Warp 6."

"Warp 6, aye sir." came the reply from the helmsman, as he once again manipulated the controls of the starship's CONN to increase the vessels speed.

"Warp field is stable, Captain." Lieutenant Biggins reported from Ops.

"Excellent." Vorn replied. "What's our ETA now?"

"22 hours, Captain."

"Good. When we get near, bring our speed down a bit. I want us to be on Alpha Shift tomorrow when we exit warp."
