Captain's Log, Supplemental

Commanders Gunning and Walex have reported in from the surface, and it appears as if the situation is beginning to get out of hand. A large group of Maltorrans have begun rioting outside of our facility and besieging it, apparently under the impression that we are here to simply use them as laboratory specimens. Considering the nature of the tests that our medical personnel have to perform in order to find a cure for this disease, I can't really blame them for getting the wrong idea.

Unfortunately two of my security officers have been wounded by the rioters before we were able to create a safe perimeter around the facility. We also have one potential fatality; a small number of infected Maltorrans appear to have also become involved in the rioting and have attacked one of my people. Doctors Drani and Tenebroso are treating him now, but they tell me that the virus seems to be having an advanced and very rapid effect on him. I can only hope that they manage to find a cure before it is too late for him.
