Meeting the New Doctor

Mission: Into a Devil's Heart
Location: Sickbay

Bradley had just recently heard that Analynn Latoon had been transffered off the Iapetus and that her replacement had arrived moments ago.

Picking up a PADD off his desk he made his way to sickbay to introduce himself and schedule a Evaluation.

Winter was evaluating the status of the sickbay staff, her long white hair was in a tight pony tail with the bangs brushed behind her ear. She had quickly set her things down in her quarters and quickly ran off to sickbay. She then heard the door open behind her and she jolted.

Entering the main ward of sickbay Bradley looked at the PADD that had the picture of the CMO on it and he looked around to see if she was busy.

Winter slowly turned around to see the handsome young counselor and smiled warmly.

Seeing her turn around Bradley made his way over to the new Chief Medical Officer. "You must be Doctor Winter Balmorra?" said Bradley.

"Yes mister Openhouse I'm Doctor Winter Balmorra, I was just transfered here from the Ganymede to serve as your CMO and instructor to the Cadet's onboard." Winter said with her usual cheer.

"I hope you enjoy it here on the Iapetus. In the mean time just to keep this on the back burner I used to be the Assistant CMO before becoming Chief Counselor so if you need and assistance around here don't hesitate to ask." said Bradley before turning into Counselor mode.

Winter nodded. "I'm sure you did well, this is my first seniority assignment, on the Ganymede I was AMO, and at Medical I was a DMI."

"Now that is out of the way I need to schedule a Psych Evaluation for you once you are settled in." he said with his usual chipper voice.

Winter raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure I need one? My medical report should be all here including my evaluation that took place two days ago!" Winter exclaimed.

Bradley smiled. "Its regulation that upon a transfer to a new assignment that all personnel get a Medical and Psychological evaluation.

Winter smiled. "Mister Openhouse, one good thing about being a CMO." Winter said as she picked up a tricorder. "You can perform Medical evalutaions on your self." Winter said as she ran the tricoder up and down her body. "Now Mister Openhouse I know what your thinking, it's unethical and missuse of Starfleet Medical orders, but I'm also a Diplomat and I love finding loop holes in everything." Winter said with a smugg attitude and closed the tricorder. "Well I've got the first part out of the way, I'm in prestine condition. Now for the psych evaluation." Winter said.

"Mind if we use your office since I am here?" asked Bradley.

"Of course mister Openhouse." Winter said as she moved towards her office.

Bradley entered the office and sat across from the new doctor.

Taking out a PADD he input a few commands and set it on the desk.

"So Doctor. Tell me a little bit about yourself." said Bradley.

"Well I was born on Tyran nine, my father was an artist, and my mother was an aide to the planet's delegate on the federation Council, ah.......... I speant a lot of time running through the hills as a kid.........um....... I joined Starfleet at eighteen, went to Starfleet Medical Academy, became a Medical Instructor, new Alien species...................... ah, next was the Ganymede as AMO and ACMO then here on the Iapetus as CMO." Winter said.

Bradley nodded and jotted some things on his PADD.

"I am going to say some words and I want you to give me the first thing that comes to your thoughts." said Bradley.

Tapping a few more buttons on his PADD he cleared his throat and spoke.

"Starfleet?" he began.

"Protector." Winter said.

"Iapetus?" said Bradley.

"The ship or the moon?" Winter asked.

"Earth?"

"Over rated." Winter stated.

"Why is it over rated?" asked Bradley changing the subject.

"Not exactly the utopia its portrayed in the media is it?" Winter asked.

"I see." said Brad. Inputting a few more commands into his PADD he looked at the chronometer.

"Well I have another session in five minutes. Your mental status is normal and I don't see any signs of Mental defect. Your cleared." he said as he stood up to prepare to leave.

"Alright mister Opemhouse, see you soon." Winter said as Bradley left.
