I have found myself to have become unusually withdrawn over the last few days. I tend to be more of an unexpressive individual, but, even for someone such as myself, I have recently been absent from normal events. I have also come to the realization of why this event has been occuring in myself. I have become almost too reflective over my Starfleet career, withdrawing into myself, before, and I am doing it yet again.

Having realized all this, I will now strive to break out of this... "funk" .

As far as the new devolopments in our mission, I am excited to pursue the new course that we are now heading towards. A newly discovered species just on the brink of warp travel... This is what one joins Starfleet for.
